Pick a car, set the terms and get confirmed numbers before you visit the dealer. What is left on site is to inspect the car and sign.
New cars at franchise dealers · Taxes and fees inside the payment · We check the contract before you sign
Step by step
Five steps. Four of them happen before you reach the dealer. From application to signing usually takes up to 3 business days.
Open the catalog and pick the model, the trim and the specific offer. The card shows the MSRP, the dealer discount, the available incentives and the deal terms.
Open the catalogChoose the term, the annual mileage and the amount due at signing. The payment is recalculated with taxes and mandatory fees included.
No account, no phone call and no SSN at this step. Run the numbers as often as you like.
Once the car and the numbers are set, send the application. Everything it needs is visible before you start.
What will not happen
What you will need
The bank reviews the application and confirms what is available to you. You see the final rate, payment, amount due at signing and the bank requirements before the trip to the dealer.
How long the wait is
Usually up to 3 business days. If the credit history is thin or there is a trade-in in the deal, the bank needs more time, up to 7 business days.
In some cases the bank changes the rate, asks for extra documents or offers a different amount due at signing. The deal continues only after you confirm the updated terms.
The dealer prepares the car and the paperwork on the confirmed terms. You arrive, inspect the car and only then sign.
You do not sign alone
Before you sign, a Hunter Lease team member checks the contract against the locked terms line by line. If something appeared in the paperwork that was not in the calculation, you hear about it before the signature, not after.
You choose. Both are covered by the service fee, with nothing extra to pay.
The price is not reopened at the dealer.
Before you apply
Not an illustration: the car and the numbers come from the catalog right now. Open any line to see what stands behind it.
Transparency
The numbers on the site are real from the first second. What changes is not their accuracy but how firmly they are attached to you.
This is not an estimate and not an ad: the numbers come from the live program of the brand bank. The only missing piece is your credit profile.
If something changed, you see it before the trip, not in the finance office.
At handover the agreed terms are not reopened.
The difference
You come to the dealer not to haggle but to inspect the car and close a deal that is already agreed.
| The usual way | Hunter Lease |
|---|---|
| You learn the payment by phone or on site, often without the term, mileage or taxes | The whole calculation is open before you apply: payment, term, mileage, taxes and fees together |
| The dealer discount and the manufacturer incentives are merged into one "savings" number | The dealer discount and the manufacturer incentives are separate lines |
| Negotiation continues at the dealership and the numbers drift as you go | The terms are confirmed before the visit and are not reopened at the dealer |
| The final numbers show up only in the contract, and you face it alone | A team member checks the contract before you sign, in person at the dealer or online |
Roles
There are four parties in the deal, and the lines between them are hard.
In short
No. Browsing the catalog and setting the terms needs no SSN. It is required when you send the bank application.
No. Nothing reaches the credit bureaus while you browse the catalog and run the numbers. The bureau inquiry is made by the bank after you send the application.
Usually up to 3 business days from the application to signing. If the credit history is thin or there is a trade-in in the deal, the bank needs more time, up to 7 business days.
Before the bank decision the payment is calculated from the bank program without your credit profile. After the decision you see the confirmed terms and can accept or decline them.
A Hunter Lease team member. The contract is checked line by line against the confirmed terms: price, discount, rate, term, amount due at signing and any add-ons that appeared in the paperwork. In person at the dealer, or online from a photo or a scan while you are still at the desk. You choose, and neither option costs extra.
No. The terms are confirmed before the visit. At the dealer you inspect the car and sign.
Yes. Every car is priced both as a lease and as a loan, and both numbers are shown side by side. We work only with the captive bank of the brand you picked: it has subsidised programs no outside bank offers.
Browsing the catalog and running the numbers is free, always. The $95 service fee is charged when you lock the terms, and it covers the contract check at the dealer. It does not reduce the price of the car and it is refunded in full on request before you sign.
California only for now. Enter a ZIP outside the state in the catalog and a waitlist form appears there: leave your email and we will write when we open.
Compare the offers, set the terms and get confirmed numbers before you visit the dealer.
Free, no account and no SSN. We work across California.
